Please place all your clothes inside a tied bag, like a regular trash bag. Our drivers cannot collect open baskets or loose items. You'll be notified of your pickup time, and there's no need to be home. Once your laundry is picked up, you'll receive a photo confirmation.

Yes, once we receive your order, we will send you a text message to confirm the pickup time. Additionally, you will receive a text message when the driver is en route to your location to pick up your laundry.

While we cannot guarantee a specific brand, you can select the general type of detergent you would like. These include: Scented: This is our default detergent offering, which provides the traditional scented laundry smell. Hypoallergenic: We have several customers who choose hypoallergenic detergent, specifically families with young children, or individuals with sensitive skin. Baby detergent, bleach, dark protect, fabric softener, scent booster.

No way! We never wash or dry your items with anyone else’s.

Yes, at Clean & Carry, we carefully read and follow all label instructions to ensure the best care for your laundry.

Yes, we do! Whites and darks are washed separately. However, we kindly ask that you place them in separate bags. If you'd like us to sort them for you, a $5 separation fee will apply.

Customers can provide special instructions by filling out the designated field on the scheduling form.

We don’t accept customer-supplied detergent, as it’s difficult to track during pickup and delivery. But no worries — we offer a variety of detergent options! If you don’t see your preference listed, just leave a note in the instructions and we’ll do our best to provide it. Your satisfaction is our priority.

No, you do not need to be home. Simply leave your laundry in a clearly visible location, such as your front door or porch, and we will take care of the rest. We will send you a text message when our driver is on the way to pick up your laundry, and another message once it has been picked up.

If you miss your scheduled pickup day, a $15 missed pickup fee will be applied to your account. Please note that we send three reminder notifications via SMS before the scheduled pickup time to help ensure you don't forget about your pickup appointment.

Yes, you can receive a delivery even if you're not home. During checkout, you can add specific instructions for our team to leave your laundry in a designated drop-off area.

Yes! When scheduling your pickup, you’ll see available same-day options directly on the calendar. Just choose a time that works best for you — we’ll handle the rest.

You’ll be charged after we weigh your laundry and finalize the total. This usually happens shortly after pickup.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your card is securely saved to your account for quick and easy future checkouts.

Yes — there’s a 17 lb minimum for each order.

For first-time customers, a $30 preauthorization is placed on your credit/debit card. This step ensures security and helps prevent fraud or the use of unauthorized cards.
This preauthorization confirms that funds are available and puts a temporary hold on them.

You are not charged this amount.

Once your laundry is completed—washed, dried, folded, packed, and weighed—the actual cost of the service is charged, and the hold is released.
If you cancel the order, the preauthorization hold is also released.

While Clean & Carry releases the hold immediately, the timeline for funds to return to your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

If this preauthorization is an issue, we recommend using a credit card rather than a debit card, as credit cards hold the amount from your credit line without directly charging or refunding you.

Yes! You’ll receive a notification during both pickup and delivery, giving you an easy option to leave a tip right from your phone.

We’ll notify you right away to update your payment method. If payment is not received within a reasonable time, Clean&Carry reserves the right to send the unpaid balance to a collection agency.

While we do our best to stay on schedule, delays may occur due to traffic or weather. Because your laundry is always handled with care — picked up, washed, folded, and delivered with high standards — we do not offer refunds for minor delays.

If an item is damaged during the washing process, we offer compensation of up to $25 per item, with a maximum of $200 per order. For full details, please review our Terms of Service.

If any item is mistakenly returned unwashed, Clean&Carry will reprocess it for you free of charge.

If we receive an item with visible damage, we’ll notify you right away. For stains, we do our best to treat them — but we can’t guarantee 100% removal.

We double-check every order before returning it. If something is missing, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery so we can investigate and assist promptly.

Found an item that’s not yours? Or missing something we might’ve found? Let us know — we’ll do our best to return any misplaced pieces.

If our driver arrives and there's no laundry ready for pickup, a $15 no-show fee will be charged. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 2 hour before your scheduled time.
